I saw... Picture Perfect... The Jennifer Aniston/Kevin Bacon 90's classic. Love it, a cute little romantic comedy about a career minded gal who accidentally falls in love. Just what the doctor ordered =).
I saw... New York, I Love You... Despite poor reviews from friends, I thought it was original, insightful and well done. It is a compilation of 10-12 filmmakers short films that weave cleverly together. In the same vane as Paris, Je Te'me and a little bit of Love Actually, I enjoyed the glimpses into different relationships and love viewed from several angles. Sometimes sweet, sad, sordid, new and old, I love a good movie that can shift perspective so many times but it held continuity using New York as a backdrop and almost a character. Almost every face was recognizable as well.
I read... The Reason for God... I'm still plowing through this one. Its really growing on me even though it is not an easy read. Some of the semantics trip my lowly understanding but I'm still trying!
